Yadavs and Abheers are included in 36 royal races as per James Tod,Prithvi Raj Raso and older literature.There is ample evidence that these people are decendents of Yadu and have ruled major portions of Indian Sub continent.Their battle laurels in Mahabharata,in medival period and in all wars fought by Indian Army are indications enough of their martial acumen.Rao Jaisal ancestory was Yadav.Bhati and Yadav is synonymous.A number of famous Rajput Gotra Nikum,Nirban,Dahima,etc are there in Yadavs/Rao.Its perhaps due to social conditions post Muslim and British rule and later Mandalisation that number of such clans got seperated from Rajputs.However the situation demands all martial/kshatriya kul enumerated in 36 Kuls of Rajput Kshatriyas should get united and start social exchanges like marriages etc to save this religion and culture.Brahmin,Vaishya unfortunately will not be able to protect themselves and Hindu Culture as we have seen in kashmir and other parts of country.
